Japan versus Nigeria: The last quarter-final match of the 2014 Quidditch World Cup is now over!

The last match of the 2014 Quidditch World Cup quarter-finals has now been played, but who was the fourth team to make it through to the semi-finals?

According to Ginny Potter, reporting live from Patagonia for the Daily Prophet, this match should be remembered as the Battle of the Beaters, with a veritable master class of Bludger work displayed by Nigerian pair Okoye and Ojukwu, and famous Japanese duo Hongo and Shingo.

The winning team took advantage of their opponents’ distraction after a staggeringly powerful shot by their Beater, smashing the tail off the opposing Seeker’s broom, and brought the game to a close soon after.

Visit the Daily Prophet offices to read Ginny Potter’s full report in today’s edition of the wizarding newspaper and find out which team has gone through to the next round of the tournament.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition has arrived in Europe!

If you haven't yet heard the news, we’re sure you’ll be delighted to find out that Harry Potter: The Exhibition is in Europe this summer! Since it’s launch in 2009, over 2.5 million fans around the world have experienced this travelling exhibition, which has visited multiple cities, including New York, Toronto, Sydney, Singapore and Tokyo.

The exhibition features sets from the films’ most popular locations, including the Gryffindor common room and dormitory, the Potions and Herbology classrooms and the dark Forbidden Forest! There are also hundreds of authentic props, costumes and creatures that were used in the production of the eight films that you can get up close to, as well as several fun interactive experiences - try pulling a Mandrake in the Herbology classroom and or visit Hagrid’s hut and sit in his giant-sized armchair!

The first of multiple stops is Norrköping, Sweden, at Nya Parken, where the exhibition will be from now until 7 September 2014. After Sweden, the exhibition will premiere at the Adventure Museum Odysseum in Cologne, Germany, on 3 October 2014. Those visiting the exhibition in Sweden may even want to look out for some familiar Pottermore artwork in the foyer!

Visit the Harry Potter: The Exhibition website now to find out more and buy your tickets!

I saw the exhibition when it was in New York. :D I thought it was cool too. However, I still want to see the Studio Tour and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Sorry I wasn't able to update sooner. I have been traveling and I had an event yesterday.

The semi-finals of the 2014 Quidditch World Cup begin next week!

The semi-final matches of the 2014 Quidditch World Cup begin next week! Four of the sixteen qualifying teams have made it through the first round and quarter-finals, and after the shock eliminations of pre-tournament favourites Norway and Nigeria, the race to the final has been thrown wide open.

The first match of the semi-finals between USA and Brazil is on Friday 27 June, followed by Japan versus Bulgaria, scheduled for Sunday 29 June.

Follow all the action from the semi-finals with Ginny Potter’s live match reports in the Daily Prophet offices on Pottermore.com.

Before the quarter-finals began, we asked you to vote in our poll and tell us who you would be supporting in the four matches, and we were surprised to see how many of you chose the winning teams!

53% of you backed Bulgaria against Norway, 63% of you supported the Japanese team against Nigeria and a whopping 69% were cheering on USA against Liechtenstein! The 59% who supported Wales against Brazil will have been sadly disappointed at the elimination of their team, but will they choose to show support for another team in the next round?

Let us know who you will be cheering on in the semi-finals on Facebook or on Twitter if you have an account using #QuidditchWorldCup, or vote in our poll below!

No, don't apologize. It shouldn't be just up to you to update the Insider topic.

Yeah, I'd love to go to the studio tour and the wizarding world of HP looks amazing.
